On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out several forms of health information. Then the intake begins. We ask questions about your lifestyle, habits, likes and dislikes. Some questions may seem funny, not the usual questions, one expects from a health practitioner. Then your blood pressure is taken, your pulses are examined, and your tongue is inspected. Depending on the treatment plan you may be asked to remove some clothing. Then tiny needles will be gently inserted into specific areas of your body. You may feel a pinch, at most. Invariably, there are many sensations. These include a warm sensation, or heaviness. Then you will be left to relax for approximately 25 minutes. The needles will then be removed, and you will be asked to sit up slowly and get dressed.

It is recommended that when you come in for treatment, eat something ahead of time, and you empty your bladder before the treatment begins. The frequency of treatments will be then discussed with you, and a treatment plan will be developed. Please allow about an hour and a half for the first visit. Followups are about twenty to twenty five minutes per session.
